Introduction to Buddhism Wednesdays 7.30pm – 9.40pm
We investigate the three-fold path of Ethics, Meditation and Wisdom. Each evening starts with an introduction to meditation followed by a tea break and then study and discussion led by an experienced Buddhist. Participants progress through three levels of the study with Level 1 suitable for those completely new to Buddhism. The course will give a clear account of the foundations of the Buddha’s teachings. Participants enjoy the opportunity to discuss some of the big issues in life in the spirit of open enquiry and find out just how relevant the traditional Buddhist teachings are to contemporary life. Start dates are as follows (we run the three levels of the course concurrently.) : |
