The Centre premises are level although we are on the first floor with stairway access. The Glasgow Buddhist Centre Bookshop has probably the
largest selection of books on meditation and Buddhism in Glasgow. It
also includes cards, prints rupas (Buddhist statues) jewellery and CD's.

At the Weekend
Pan Buddhist Wesak at the Tramway's
Hidden Gardens Saturday 10 May starts 11am
This festival co-led by three of Glasgow's Buddhist
groups is a celebration of the Buddha's Enlightenment.
Featuring meditation, ritual, a symposium of talks and
an abundance of beautiful food and stalls, the theme of this year's
celebration is generosity.
Come along any time from 11am, finishing with a closing ritual at 4pm.

For beginners or those
who would like to refresh their practice.

Wesak Festival
Sunday 18th May at the GBC.
The Buddha's Enlightenment is the central event in Buddhism, and Wesak
is the celebration of that Enlightenment.
The most important Buddhist festival of the year.
4.00pm to 9.00pm

Reiki sessions offered throughout the day. Each
treatment is for half an hour. Please note that booking
is essential.

Meditate at the Botanics
Fri 20 June
As part of the west end festival. Meditate in the open
air with other meditators or join a guided meditation for
those new to meditation.
Please bring something to sit on.
