Level 1 The Essentials of Meditation

 

A structured introduction to meditation, posture, setting up a practice, balancing effort and relaxation. Participants will gain a practical ability in the two foundation meditation practices. Meditation can produce many benefits, from reducing stress and improving quality of life, to accessing clearer states of mind and positive emotions such as love and compassion.

Level 2:
This is a follow-on course for those who have already learned the basics of the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana and will focus on ways of taking meditation further and establishing a personal practice. It will run alongside our Level 1 courses.

Meditation Days are suitable for complete beginners and as a refresher for those who would like to brush up on their practice with an introduction to the two main practices. Please bring light vegetarian food to share.

 

Drop in meditation for newcomers and regulars

 
For anyone familiar with the practices of metta bhavana and the mindfulness of breathing. Keep up your meditation in the company of others with this led session. No need to book, just come along and join in.
