Qigong with Susanne Lin Jensen

A eight week course starting  1st September running from 16.00 to 17.00 pm. Learn a series of 18 gentle movements to help mind-body co-ordination. This sequence is known as Taijiqigong as it has the soft flowing quality of Taijiquan and the health benefits of Qigong. The moves are easy to learn and can be done by people of all ages and abilities.. The class is taken by Susanne Lin Jensen, a teacher of Dragon Spring Taiji School.

Iyengar Yoga - level 1 with Pauline Hamilton

Pauline is a qualified Iyengar Yoga teacher and has been practising yoga for over 12 years.

Her classes are suitable for complete beginners as well as regulars and will help you develop greater strength, improved posture and balance.

Drop-In Yoga Class with Jinavamsa

This class are meant as an introduction to yoga and would be suitable for beginners and people with a limited experience of yoga. The course will introduce a short sequence of poses, which once learned can be practised with an emphasis on flowing movement and awareness of breathing.

Jinavamsa doesn't make a fixed charge for his class; he prefers to welcome donations, as appropriate to each individual. Please feel free to attend, and give whatever amount works for you.

Thursday Drop In Meditation

This weekly meditation drop-in is suitable for complete beginners, and also those with some experience of the mindfulness of breathing and metta bhavana (development of loving kindness) meditations.  

The newcomers class covers the following areas: posture, body awareness, the foundations of mindfulness practice and developing kindness for oneself and others. Those new to meditation will gain a practical ability in the two foundation meditation practices we teach.
