Introduction to Meditation Day - Meditation is the cultivation of a healthy positive mind. We teach two traditional methods which are simple to learn. Saturdays 7th Aug, 30th Oct & 12th Dec, 10.30 – 4.30pm, £30/£20

Day Retreats - These are for everybody attending our course to spend a bit longer with meditation. 25th July,
17th Oct, 5th & Dec, 10.30am – 4.30pm. Cost included in the course fee.

Fair Fortnight – free meditation taster sessions 19 – 22 July and 26 – 29 July, 12.30 – 1pm, No charge

Dharma Day - Come to celebrate Dharma Day with talks on Balanced Effort and Receptivity, meditation and readings and a meal at 6pm. (Please bring some vegetarian food to share.) Saturday 24 July from 4pm.

Summertime Specials - Over the summer our local teachers will introduce classic texts from across the Buddhist tradition from the oldest sections of the Pali Canon to 13th Century Tibet. Thursdays at 7.30pm as follows: 15th July – Sutta Nipata, 22nd July – Parable of the Rain Cloud , 29th July – Vimalakirti Nirdesa, 5th Aug – Padmasambhava’s Advice to the Three Fortunate Women, 12th Aug – Heart Sutta, 19th Aug – Metta Sutta

Summer Sangha Retreat at Dhanakosa -
this year we will explore the Therigatha and the Theragatha – the songs of awakening of the men and women disciples of the Buddha. Suitable for all who have some experience of Buddhism and Meditation (e.g. if you have completed one of our beginners’ courses). 20th – 27th August.
