About
Wednesdays, 7pm - 9pm. An eight-week course for those who have taken our intro to Buddhism courses in the past, as well as learned the two foundational meditation practices we teach (metta bhavana and mindfulness of breathing). This course explores the symbol of the wheel of life. See how this teaching can help us understand ourselves, our minds and our world more clearly, to be able to move from the reactive mode to the creative mind of the Buddha. Please arrange to arrive 10 minutes before so that you are ready to start at 7pm. How do I book? In order to book via the website you, please click the book now link, and pay a £5 booking fee. If you cannot afford this, for whatever reason, please email gbc@glasgowbuddhistcentre.com in order to book. Do I have to pay? The Glasgow Buddhist Centre provides the priceless teachings for free to whoever wants them, but we do survive on donations. We ask for suggested donations of between £30 - £60 for the whole course. This is a guideline for those who appreciate it but we will gladly accept less or more, whatever you can afford. If you cannot afford any donation, please still come!
